Q: The camera cannot be rotated, why?

A: It is recommended that you power off and restart the camera. Under normal circumstances, it will rotate by self-test. If it still does not turn, is usually caused by power failure, andyou'd better replace the 12V 1A power supply. Besides, using the power extension cable will result in insufficient output power and make the camera unable to rotate. If you use a power extension cable, it is recommended that you use a muchmore powerful power source (e.g. 12V2A).

Q: How to turn on the camera's WIFI hotspot?

A: After the camera is powered on for 1 minute (do not connect the network cable), press and hold the tail reset button for 5 seconds. The WIFI hotspot will be automatically turned on after the camera is restarted.

Q: What is the WIFI hotspot password of the camera?

A: The WIFI hotspot name of the camera is IPC-XXXX, and the password is 01234567

Q: Why cannot the camera connect to WIFI (wireless router)?

A: The camera does not support 5GHz WIFI, and the WIFI signal of the wireless router must be 2.4GHz. WIFI name and password cannot include special characters, the password is case sensitive and should not exceed 20 digits. The installation position of the camera must be covered by the WIFI signal; the camera should not be installed in an enclosed space and should be kept away from the large metal shield as much as possible.

Q: Does it contain an SD card?

A: It does not contain an SD card. You need to purchase the SD card yourself. It is recommended to use the Class 10 Micro SD card up to 128G.

Q: The camera cannot record.

A: It is usually caused by SD card failure or incompatibility, and you'd better replace the SD card. Besides, after the first installation of an SD card for the camera, it is recommended that youformat the SD card before starting recording.
